Jay Goitia is a producer, artist, and amateur aquarist with an affinity for scan lines, FM synthesis, and obsolete technology. He currently lives with his girlfriend and two cats in Brooklyn by way of the quiet East Bay salt flats.
What is home? This seemingly random assortment of photos,
drawings, and ephemera convey “home” to the artist; personal
artifacts from different times and places that channel a comforting aura to suggest that “home” is not a specific place, but rather a feeling linked to one’s experience, hopes, and dreams.
Connor Whiriskey is founder of the New York based Cut Mistake
Music label. He is involved in a number of music projects spanning
experimental musings to structured forms of techno and house. He was born and raised on the west coast of Ireland and now calls Brooklyn home.
This sonic composition is stitched and processed entirely from field recordings of a trip to Cuba in late 2015. The images are a visual accompaniment to the sonic landscapes.
