Spencer Jordan is an Oakland-based artist working in a range of mediums including poetry, printmaking, and music. Among other things, his work explores the mundane and incidental, everyday speech, and personal intimacy with a hope to find empathetic, non-solipsistic forms of representation. He hopes to model in his work the same attention and care that gives these types of experiences their holiness in lived reality.
