Cone Shape Top is thrilled to present “Feedback”, a month long group exhibition of six artists working in video rooted within the Bay Area DIY scenes. Ranging between live coding and mapping, digital glitch work, installation and video collages, these various experimentations have been embedded within the fabric of the local underground. Often operating outside the context of traditional gallery space, these artists have mostly been showcased in clubs, warehouses, renegade raves, local experiential installations and community run art shows.

United by format yet ranging in technique and expression are surreal psychedelic abstractions on identity, personal hxstories, existential thoughts on collective personal/global pains through the effects of capitalism and the pandemic, but also hopes, dreams, desires and the fleeting moments inbetween it all that remind us of our own humanity.
