First House Sun Second House Sun 

“First House Sun Second House Sun” is a visual conversation between two old friends Tania Enriquez and Kris Chau.

Tania Enriquez uses metal cutouts and wire sculptures to create shapes that are both intuitive and call back to creations symbols such as spirals and circles. Kris Chau takes us into printmaking and quiet watercolors of shells, eyes and flora, telling a story about our interconnectedness as beings. Their collaborative pieces mix printed textiles, metalwork and paper that feel playful and speak to the ways that true resilience and evolution comes with keeping the heart soft. What brings these two artists together is that both are more interested in feeling ancient than being new. Together with Cone Shape Top they present to you recent work that takes you into this intimate conversation between two like-spirited artists.
