Los Angeles producer, Morgan Alexander, debuts on Jacktone with "Times Hard Worn."

The techno vet cut his teeth in Boston in the 90s and relocated to the West in the mid 2000s, immediately soaking up his new environment and influences while getting involved in the local scene through a series of events called Bottom Floor and his own label, Jack Van Sloot.

The 8 tracks on "Times Hard Worn" are as dark and off-kilter as they are jackin', recalling sonic touchstones like John Tejada, as well as early Kompakt. This one's for the DJs! - Jacktone
