To kick off the launch of San Francisco's Jacktone Records, we present our first release - two reverb-soaked acid tracks from San Francisco native, Jay Fields, under his Exillon moniker. The tracks meld otherworldly tones and lo-fi acidic grooves with an exquisitely dark and melodic techno mood to create an ominous 'no lights' atmosphere in the bunker or on headphones. With a decade of releases under his belt on labels such as Ad Noiseam (Berlin), Detroit Underground (USA), Zod (USA), Contortion (Berlin) & Puzzling Records (Belgium) - expect a variety of influences: acid, idm, ambient, and techno all precisely mixed up in a firmly structured four on the floor format with that signature Exillon sound. - Jacktone
