In early 2016, San Francisco's Scott Moore debuted a dark, psychedelic acid set in a forest and after returning home, decided to capture 5 of those compositions on analog tape. The result from that live set and subsequent recording session is "Slow Motion Pictures."

There’s a thick layer of grime on the lens that these 5 cuts are viewed through, making mystery and discomfort equally influential. The medium of recording to tape also complements the sound - its rich palette of strident rhythms, rubbery synths, and Pro One squelch, snaking through a murky textured haze. The tracks are perfect for headphones and warm hi-fi systems, late-night warehouse parties and all-night hallucinogenic road trips. We're thrilled to have Scott on the roster and are honored he trusted us with his debut release. - Jacktone
